Uttar Pradesh Successfully Conducts B.Ed JEE at Over 1,000 Centres
The B.Ed Joint Entrance Examination 2026 was smoothly held across 1,011 centres in Uttar Pradesh, with a commendable 90% candidate turnout. Conducted by Bundelkhand University, the exam showcased advanced technology and security measures to promote transparency and integrity, marking a significant achievement for the state's examination protocols.

The B.Ed Joint Entrance Examination 2026 was carried out with success at 1,011 centres across 72 districts in Uttar Pradesh. According to the state government, an impressive 90% of the 444,958 registered candidates participated in the exam, which Bundelkhand University organized in two precise shifts.
The first shift featured general knowledge and language assessments, while the second included aptitude and subject competency tests. Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay expressed pride in the exam's peaceful and transparent execution.
Uttar Pradesh distinguished itself as a leader in hosting technology-driven, fraud-resistant examinations. The organizing university deployed a sophisticated Integrated Command and Control Centre to oversee the entire process via live monitoring supported by 22,000 CCTV cameras and 5,651 biometric machines.
For the first time, GPS-equipped body cameras offered live insights into examination proceedings, ensuring accountability in handling confidential materials. Upadhyay stated emphatically that the government is committed to safeguarding the youths' futures through stringent examination integrity.
