During a recent media briefing, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, an adept helicopter pilot in the Indian Air Force, shared insights about India's 'Operation Sindoor'. This operation, a response to a terror attack in Pahalgam, involved Indian forces targeting terror sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

'Operation Sindoor' was launched following the tragic incident in Pahalgam which claimed 26 lives, predominantly tourists. Conducted by Indian forces, the operation took aim at key terror bases, including those run by Jaish-e-Mohammad and Lashkar-e-Taiba.

Vyomika, whose childhood ambition was to 'own the sky', has embarked on a remarkable journey from dreaming of flying to logging over 2,500 hours in the sky. Her experiences include leading a high-risk rescue mission in Arunachal Pradesh in 2020, demonstrating her commitment to her profession.
