As the venue prepares to host its third World Cup, significant improvements are underway, including city infrastructure enhancements like upgraded lighting and pedestrian paths. The Tren Ligero light rail service will also expand, accommodating an anticipated 400,000 passengers daily to handle game day crowds efficiently.
In terms of security, Mexico City is ramping up its video surveillance capabilities, with thousands of new cameras scheduled for installation to bolster public safety. The former presidential residence, Los Pinos, will serve as the media center during the event.
