In a show of unity and support for the Indian Armed Forces, special prayers are being conducted in mosques across Karnataka, as announced by the State's Waqf and Minority Affairs Minister B Z Zameer Ahmed Khan. This initiative comes in the wake of 'Operation Sindoor,' the military retaliation for the recent Pahalgam terror attack.

The mosques under the Waqf Board's jurisdiction, along with other participating places of worship, are set to offer special Friday prayers. Khan has formally reached out to the Chief Executive Officer of the Waqf Board to ensure these prayers are carried out for the strength and courage of the country's soldiers.

In a parallel effort, Minister Ramalinga Reddy has announced that temples governed by the Karnataka Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Department will also host special prayers. This spiritual mobilization underscores a collective call for the safety and success of the military forces engaged in critical defense operations.
