After nearly a month at sea, IOS SAGAR returned to India, marking a significant advancement in maritime cooperation. The Indian Navy hailed the mission as a testament to India's commitment to safeguarding maritime interests in the Indian Ocean Region.

Flagged off from Karwar by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, IOS SAGAR carried a diverse crew from India and nine other countries, promoting the concept of Mutual and Holistic Advancement for Security Across the Regions (MAHASAGAR). This initiative enhances India's role as a preferred security partner.

The vessel, which visited several ports, engaged in joint exercises and cultural exchanges, fostering camaraderie and security cooperation in the region. Vice Admiral V Srinivas praised the dedication and achievements of the international crew, solidifying bonds across the Indian Ocean.
