Tragic Journey: Pilgrim's Fate on the Yamunotri Trek
A pilgrim named Lakhan Lal from Madhya Pradesh died on his way to the Yamunotri temple. He fainted near the Bhairav temple and was later declared dead at Jankichatti Hospital. Since the pilgrimage began on April 30, two devotees have died on this trek route.

A tragic incident occurred as a pilgrim from Madhya Pradesh met his demise en route to the Yamunotri temple, officials reported.
The pilgrim, identified as 51-year-old Lakhan Lal, experienced dizziness and collapsed near the Bhairav temple during his trek, as confirmed by Badkot SHO Deepak Kathait.
Despite immediate efforts by the State Disaster Response Force to transfer him to Jankichatti Hospital, doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival. This marks the second fatality on the Yamunotri trek since the pilgrimage commenced on April 30.
