Sitarist Rishab Sharma has decided to postpone his much-anticipated concert in Indore due to the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, which intensified following the Pahalgam attack. Sharma took to Instagram just hours before his scheduled performance to inform fans about the postponement, citing safety concerns.
In his message, Rishab said, "Due to recent events in India and considering all safety measures, the event originally set for May 9 in Indore is postponed. We appreciate your patience and are working with authorities to reschedule." Current ticket holders are advised to watch for new dates, with all tickets remaining valid.
Tensions between India and Pakistan have been high following the Indian military's Operation Sindoor, which targeted terrorist camps across nine locations. The Indian Army successfully repelled multiple drone attacks and ceasefire violations along the Line of Control. The indigenously developed Akash missile system was pivotal in countering these threats, according to defense officials.
