Charlize Theron has voiced her opinion that Uma Thurman's performance in Quentin Tarantino's 'Kill Bill' warranted an Oscar win. Thurman, who played the vengeance-seeking Bride in the two-part martial arts drama, became an iconic action figure for many, including Theron.

Set to appear alongside Thurman in 'The Old Guard 2', Theron described her co-star as the original great when it comes to executing stunning stunts. Speaking on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!', Theron reflected on her admiration for Thurman's work, citing her as a major influence upon entering the action movie scene.

Though Thurman was nominated for a 1994 supporting role in 'Pulp Fiction', she never secured an Oscar win. Theron, who herself won an Oscar for 'Monster', argues that Thurman's contribution to action cinema, particularly in 'Kill Bill', remains underappreciated.
