Previously, Reliance secured US waivers to import Venezuelan crude oil but ceased operations after the Trump administration imposed a 25% tariff.

Reliance's business interests extend beyond the US, with significant investment from Qatar's sovereign wealth fund into Ambani's retail enterprise. Furthermore, US tech giants, including Google and Meta, have invested in Reliance's digital adventures, underscoring the international scope of Ambani's business relationships.
