The Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce, represented by M Narasimhalu, supported the Supreme Court's decision but echoed concerns about Haasan's statement, urging for an apology from the actor. This sentiment was echoed by N M Suresh, who noted the potential financial impact on the film industry due to the ensuing controversy.
