Air India encountered a series of challenges as two of its flights were disrupted on Tuesday. Flight AI143, set to depart from Delhi to Paris, was cancelled owing to technical issues coupled with nighttime operational restrictions at Charles de Gaulle Airport, as confirmed by an Air India spokesperson. The spokesperson assured passengers that alternative travel arrangements were underway, with hotel accommodations and options for full refunds or complimentary rescheduling being provided.
In a related incident, an Air India service from San Francisco to Mumbai was grounded in Kolkata following a routine post-landing inspection, which suspected a technical mishap. Passengers disembarked safely, with some being put up in nearby accommodation during the delay. The aviation troubles extended beyond Air India, with a separate incident involving IndiGo Flight 6E 2706 from Muscat to Delhi, which urgently landed in Nagpur amidst an alarming bomb threat. Despite the dramatic circumstances, all passengers disembarked without incident.
Nagpur Deputy Commissioner of Police Lohit Matani confirmed that an investigation was underway, with preliminary checks uncovering no immediate threat. Authorities continue to probe the distressing warning to ensure maximum safety for all concerned. The series of incidents have invoked heightened caution across airports and airline operations.
