Punjab Embraces Yoga: A Path to Wellness
The 11th International Day of Yoga was celebrated in Punjab and Chandigarh with various events. Prominent political leaders, including Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, advocated for incorporating yoga into daily life for health and wellness. Over 4,709 yoga classes are conducted daily across Punjab under the 'CM di Yogshala' initiative.

The International Day of Yoga (IDY) witnessed widespread participation across Punjab and Chandigarh. Events were organized in numerous locations, with political leaders and citizens joining to celebrate the day.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann emphasized the importance of yoga for physical and mental well-being, urging individuals to make it a daily habit. In Sangrur, Cabinet Minister Aman Arora performed yoga and highlighted the benefits of the state government's 'CM di Yogshala' initiative.
Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu attended an event in Chandigarh, praising Prime Minister Modi's role in popularizing yoga globally. In Ludhiana, Minister Tarunpreet Singh Sond encouraged regular yoga practice to combat stress and illness. The Punjab government's efforts enable over 2.15 lakh participants to attend daily yoga sessions.
