Andhra Pradesh Sets World Records on International Yoga Day
Andhra Pradesh, led by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, celebrated the 11th International Yoga Day with two world records. Over 3 lakh participants performed Yoga at one venue, while 22,000 tribal students executed 108 Surya Namaskars. Despite an expectation of 2 crore, 2.45 crore registered statewide.

Andhra Pradesh marked a triumphant International Yoga Day under the leadership of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, achieving two Guinness Book of World Records. Over 3.03 lakh people gathered to practice Yoga, setting a record for the most participants at a single location.
The Chief Minister announced the record-breaking feat during a session attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at RK Beach. Significantly, 22,000 tribal students also set a record by performing 108 Surya Namaskars in 108 minutes at one site.
Naidu shared that the state expected around two crore registrations for the event, but the actual numbers soared to an impressive 2.45 crore across Andhra Pradesh, further underscoring the massive turnout for International Yoga Day.
