Across Madhya Pradesh, thousands gathered in public parks and auditoriums to celebrate International Yoga Day, despite sporadic rainfall. Politicians and citizens alike engaged in yoga postures, commemorating the day with fervor.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia attended sessions in Bhopal and Indore, respectively, praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts to globalize yoga. Yadav addressed participants at Atal Path, emphasising India's rich spiritual heritage tied to yoga's transformative power.
Scindia, joining a session at Indore's Rajbada Palace, noted yoga's international growth under Modi's leadership, fostering a global family ethos through 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam'. Over 170 countries observed the occasion, underscoring India's spiritual influence and the significance of yoga in promoting worldwide wellbeing.
