In preparation for the upcoming Kanwar Yatra, police officials and district administration orchestrated a meeting with approximately 200 DJ operators on Tuesday, officials reported.

The event, held at the Police Lines auditorium, was co-chaired by Additional District Magistrate (City) Brijesh Kumar Singh and Superintendent of Police (City) Ayush Vikram Singh. They provided clear guidelines for DJ operators, emphasizing restrictions on DJ vehicle dimensions not exceeding 12 feet in height and 14 feet in width.

The operators were prohibited from playing objectionable, provocative, or obscene songs during the festival. Adherence to noise limits will be mandatory, with operations ceasing after 11 pm to prevent noise pollution. Officials noted that the Kanwar Yatra is a festival promoting faith, discipline, and social harmony, and will proceed peacefully with all parties' cooperation.
