Devotees Injured in Canal Accident During Religious Journey
Eighteen devotees from Barkot village sustained minor injuries when a pickup vehicle they were traveling in fell into a canal near Panhauna village. The accident occurred while they were en route to Ahorvan Bhawani temple. All injured were given first aid at Shivratanganj Community Health Centre.

Eighteen devotees, including 12 women, were injured when their pickup vehicle fell into a canal near Panhauna village in the Shivratanganj area. The passengers were on a religious journey to the Ahorvan Bhawani temple when the mishap occurred, police reported.
Officials stated that the vehicle lost control on a turn near Panhauna village and plunged into the canal. Miraculously, all passengers sustained only minor injuries.
Shivratanganj Station House Officer Vivek Kumar confirmed that the vehicle veered off the road and did not overturn. The injured have received first aid at the Shivratanganj Community Health Centre and are out of danger.
