Chhattisgarh CM Celebrates Shravan with Aerial Floral Tribute

Chhattisgarh's Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai marked the auspicious month of Shravan with a unique celebration, showering flower petals on kanwariyas from a helicopter in Kabirdham district, according to officials. The event, held near the Baba Bhoramdeo temple, an 11th-century shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, underscored the region's cultural significance.
During the visit, Chief Minister Sai emphasized the state government's commitment to enhancing religious tourism through the Swadesh Darshan Yojana. With Rs 146 crore allocated for the Bhoramdeo Corridor, the project aims to rejuvenate the temple complex and develop a comprehensive religious-tourism corridor in the area, benefiting numerous devotees and pilgrims.
Sai, accompanied by prominent state leaders, engaged with devotees, offering greetings and assessing their well-being. The Chief Minister expressed pride in participating in the festivities on the sacred land of Baba Bhoramdeo, sharing that additional facilities are in the works to accommodate pilgrims traveling to Amarkantak, further enhancing the state's religious tourism landscape.
