Sid Sriram, an artist celebrated for transcending musical genres, is set to captivate audiences with his inaugural commercial multi-city India tour this November and December. The tour, featuring performances in Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad, promises to be a hallmark event for the singer's extensive fan base.
Pioneering a soundscape that melds classical Indian music with soul, R&B, and electronic elements, Sriram has forged a unique musical identity. Raised in California after being born in Chennai, his training began in Carnatic music under his mother's guidance. His education at Berklee College of Music further honed his craft, leading to a distinct musical style.
Gaining fame with his playback debut in A R Rahman's 'Adiye' from the film Kadal, he has since delivered numerous hits and expanded as an independent artist. The tour will be a multicultural showcase of Sriram's work, spanning languages and traditions. Tickets, available from August 4, start at Rs 2,000.
