Bangalore Airport Unveils Ambitious Convention and Exhibition Centre

Bangalore International Airport Ltd (BIAL) subsidiary, BACL, announced a collaboration with real estate giant Prestige Group to develop an 8,000-seat convention and exhibition centre. This initiative aims to transform the airport's premises into a hub for international summits, trade fairs, and cultural spectacles.

The proposed centre is positioned as a versatile venue equipped to support high-profile events, reflecting the city's aspirations on the global Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) stage. The project underscores the shared vision of BACL and Prestige Group to bolster India's infrastructure for significant global gatherings.

This ambitious development will feature a Convention and Exhibition Centre, a luxury hotel, and a dedicated performing arts theatre. With elevated offerings like the St. Regis Hotel and a world-class Marriott marquee, the initiative aims to enhance the socio-economic fabric of Bengaluru, as highlighted by corporate leaders Rao Munukutla and Irfan Razack.
