Star-Crossed Success: 'Dhadak 2' Shines at Box Office

'Dhadak 2', featuring the talented Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri, has made a notable debut at the domestic box office, raking in a respectable Rs 4.31 crore on its opening day, as announced by its production team on Saturday.

Directed by Shazia Iqbal and produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, in association with Zee Studios and Cloud 9 Pictures, the film narrates a poignant tale of love between Neelesh and Vidhi, portrayed by Chaturvedi and Dimri, respectively, who confront societal barriers of caste.

Originally scheduled for a 2024 release, 'Dhadak 2' faced delays due to issues with the Central Board of Film Certification, which were resolved after significant edits. The film follows the 2018 hit 'Dhadak', becoming a promising addition to the romantic drama genre.
