Star-Crossed Success: 'Dhadak 2' Hits Box Office Milestone

'Dhadak 2', starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri, has garnered over Rs 14 crore at the box office within three days of its release, according to announcements made on Monday by the film's producers.

The romantic drama, directed by Shazia Iqbal, explores the tumultuous journey of Neelesh and Vidhi, portrayed by Chaturvedi and Dimri, as they contend with societal pressures stemming from their contrasting caste backgrounds. The movie hit theaters on August 1 under the banners of Dharma Productions, Zee Studios, and Cloud 9 Pictures.

The film's initial collection stood at Rs 4.31 crore, increasing to Rs 4.78 crore and Rs 5.04 crore on subsequent days, leading to a total domestic box office gross of Rs 14.13 crore. Previously facing delays due to issues with the Central Board of Film Certification, the film was originally scheduled for a November 2024 release but ultimately hit the screens after resolving the hurdles with notable cuts and changes.
