Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched a scathing attack on the Congress and Samajwadi Party, claiming discomfort over India's rising global stature in Sanatan Dharma and cultural resurgence. Speaking at a public meeting in Saharanpur, he pointed to their lack of pride in the nation's spiritual legacy.
Adityanath accused the Congress of fabricating charges against Hindu leaders in the Malegaon blast case, labeling it an act of treason. He alleged that past governments were lenient towards terrorism and dismissive of cultural icons, undermining nationalistic organizations.
Highlighting local progress, he praised the BJP's impact in Saharanpur, once neglected but now a beacon of heritage and development under the Smart City Mission. Promoting the One District, One Product initiative, he cautioned against Chinese goods, urging support for swadeshi products.
