Maharashtra Enhances Jyotirlinga Sites with Senior IAS Oversight

In a groundbreaking move, the Maharashtra government has taken a significant step towards enhancing its cultural heritage by appointing senior IAS officers to monitor the development plans of five major Jyotirlinga sites.
These officers are tasked with conducting regular project reviews and reporting directly to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, according to a statement from the Chief Minister's Office on Wednesday.
The development plans have already received approval from high-level committees, and necessary government resolutions have been issued. Spanning across various districts, these sacred sites are set to undergo infrastructural enhancements with considerable financial allocations.
