In a touching display of patriotism, students from government schools in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district have created and sent 3,000 handmade rakhis to soldiers stationed at the China border. This gesture, part of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, aims to convey gratitude and solidarity to the nation's defenders.
Driven by District Development Commissioner Harvinder Singh and Director of School Education Jammu Naseem Javaid Chowdhary, the initiative saw enthusiastic participation from students and educators, highlighting a strong sense of unity and national pride in the region.
Under the oversight of Chief Education Officer Mohd Hafiz and coordination by District Nodal Officer Umesh Kumar, a ceremony was held at the Deputy Commissioner's Office in Doda. The rakhis, symbolizing creativity and patriotism, were formally handed over for dispatch to soldiers in Leh, reinforcing the bond between civilians and the armed forces.
