Fans of Robert Pattinson's portrayal of Batman have something to look forward to, as Warner Bros. Discovery has confirmed that filming for 'The Batman Part II' will commence in spring 2026. The eagerly anticipated film is set to premiere in theaters on October 1, 2027, according to a report by Variety.

The announcement was made in a recent letter to shareholders where Warner Bros. lauded its DC Universe as a significant asset in entertainment. The company also took the opportunity to update on other future DC ventures, highlighting upcoming titles such as 'Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow' and 'Clayface,' both slated for 2026 releases, along with a new 'Wonder Woman' installment.

With Matt Reeves set to direct and Robert Pattinson returning as the Dark Knight, the franchise's new chapter follows the success of the first Batman movie, which grossed $772 million globally after its March 2022 release. Though initially delayed, the script for 'The Batman Part II' is now complete, and production is scheduled to begin next year, bolstering an ambitious 10-year vision for the DC franchise.
