In a tragic incident in Visakhapatnam, a cooking gas cylinder explosion at a welding shop near the fishing harbour resulted in the death of three individuals, prompting a response from Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
On Friday, the Chief Minister announced an ex-gratia payment of Rs 10 lakh for the families of the deceased victims, emphasizing the government's commitment to support the affected families in the wake of the disaster.
Additionally, Chief Minister Naidu instructed medical officials to ensure the best possible treatment for the injured, with Visakhapatnam DCP – II Mary Prasanthi reporting that two of the three injured individuals remain in critical condition.
