In a significant meeting with Community Based Organisations (CBOs) convened by the department of Indigenous Affairs, Natung emphasized the vital role of these organisations in addressing critical problems such as the drug menace and fostering peaceful inter-state relations.

Numerous subjects were debated, including illegal immigration, the Inner Line Permit, community markets, drug-related challenges, inter-tribal harmony, and the preservation of the state's rich cultural heritage, reflecting a collaborative strategy towards community development.
