Tragic Landslide in Himachal Pradesh Claims Two Tourists

In a tragic incident in Himachal Pradesh's Kinnaur district, two tourists from Delhi lost their lives when a shooting stone hit them during a landslide on Saturday. The victims, Prasheel Baghmare and Rashmi Ram, were trekking to the Lord Sri Krishna Temple at Yulla Kanda when disaster struck.
Police reports indicate that heavy rainfall in the region triggered the landslide, leading to stones falling and hitting the tourists fatally. Despite a swift response from local authorities, both individuals suffered severe injuries and died on the spot.
Local police, led by Superintendent of Police Abhishek Shekhar, conducted a rescue operation to recover the bodies, which were then transferred to Bhawanagar Civil Hospital for post-mortem examinations. An investigation is currently underway to ascertain further details about the incident.
