Spain Joins Boycott Threat Against Israel in Eurovision Amid Gaza Conflict

Spain has added its voice to a growing list of countries threatening to boycott the Eurovision Song Contest unless Israel is excluded due to the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

Previously, the Netherlands, Ireland, and Slovenia had taken a similar stance, heightening pressure on both Israel and the European Broadcasting Union, which manages the event.

The decision by Spanish public broadcaster RTVE was finalized during a board meeting in Madrid amidst strained diplomatic relations, following protests against an Israeli-owned cycling team in Spain.
