Tragedy in Chhindwara: Car Accident Claims Lives of Four Sadhus
A car accident in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, involving seven sadhus led to four fatalities after the vehicle plunged into a well following a tyre burst. Three survivors were rescued and hospitalized. The sadhus were returning to Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh, after performing rituals in Betul district.

A car accident involving a group of seven sadhus in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, has resulted in four deaths, according to local police. The incident occurred after a tyre burst caused the vehicle to veer off course, ultimately plunging into a well.
The accident took place near Tendni Khurd on Betul Road, approximately 60 kilometers from the district headquarters, last Friday evening. Sawari police outpost's Sub Inspector Mukesh Dwivedi reported that the car hit a tree before falling into the well which lacked a boundary wall.
The sadhus were returning to their home in Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh, following a ritual in Betul district. Of the three survivors, all are currently recovering and out of danger, according to medical officials. The body of the missing sadhu was recovered the following morning.
