Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced plans to receive singer Zubeen Garg's body in Delhi, accompanying it back to Guwahati.
Garg, who tragically died while swimming in Singapore, will have his remains flown to Assam on a special aircraft, anticipated to arrive Sunday morning.
Sarma confirmed he would depart for Delhi to ensure the seamless transit of Garg's body, expected to touch down in Guwahati around 6 am.
