The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) celebrated its 100th anniversary with route marches across Himachal Pradesh on Thursday. Hundreds of volunteers participated, donning the RSS uniform and moving through bazaars and streets, all the while echoing patriotic chants.
In Hamirpur district, notable events included marches in Hamirpur town and Baru Kaswa. Addressing the volunteers at the local Town Hall, RSS state publicity in-charge Pratap Singh emphasized the organization's commitment to uniting Hindus and fostering awareness of individual rights and duties.
Highlighting over a century of service, Singh stated that the RSS is devoted to the welfare of society's diverse segments. The centennial festivities commenced on September 27, anchored around Vijayadashami, with further events scheduled in Hamirpur and Bilaspur throughout October.
