The Krishna district in Andhra Pradesh has made headlines by winning four prestigious Swachh Andhra Awards at the state level, as confirmed by a district official.
During a press conference, District Collector D K Balaji elaborated on the district's notable achievements under the Swachh Andhra Swarnandhra programme, emphasizing its dedication to cleanliness initiatives.
The awards include titles for Cleanest Village Panchayat (Challapalli), Cleanest Farmer's Market (Movva), Cleanest Hostel (BC Hostel in Dawajigudem), and Cleanest Industry (Krishna District Milk Producers Mutually Aided Cooperative Union Limited), among other district-level recognitions.
