Celebrating 50 Years: Dakshina Kannada Journalists' Milestone Stamp Unveiled

The Department of Posts unveiled a commemorative postal stamp on Monday, celebrating the golden jubilee of the Dakshina Kannada Working Journalists' Association at the Press Club.
According to Sudhakar Mallya, Senior Superintendent of Posts for the Mangaluru Division, India Post has long chronicled historical milestones through stamps, promoting Indian culture worldwide.
Besides postal and savings facilities, Mallya noted the department's growing range of citizen services, including accident and health insurance, and highlighted the My Stamp initiative for custom stamps on significant events.
