RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has raised an alarm over attempts to divide the Indian population on religious and linguistic fronts. During a speech at the consecration ceremony of the Maa Chinmayi Soundarya Temple in Tripura, Bhagwat stressed that India's true strength lies in its unity amid diversity.
The event saw the attendance of notable figures like Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy and Chief Minister Manik Saha. Bhagwat insisted that despite having a multifaceted cultural fabric, India has advanced through the ages due to its rich heritage of multiple languages, faiths, and traditions.
Bhagwat urged citizens to maintain unity and vigilance against those he described as 'evil forces' who fear that their 'shops' would close with India's progression. He emphasized the necessity for acquiring knowledge and strength to uphold righteousness in today's power-driven world.
