Bollywood superstar Salman Khan announced on Friday that his next action film, directed by Vamshi Paidipally, is scheduled for a grand Eid 2027 release. The film, which is yet to be titled, is produced by Dil Raju under the Sri Venkateswara Creations banner and stars Tamil actress Nayanthara as the female lead.
Production commenced in Mumbai earlier this week, with Khan sharing a behind-the-scenes video on his Instagram. The announcement aligns with Salman's tradition of Eid releases, a strategy that previously yielded hits like 'Dabangg' and 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'. Co-producers Shirish and Kuldeep Rathore join Rafi Kazi in making this film a large-scale theatrical spectacle.
With blockbuster director Paidipally at the helm, known for successes like 'Yevadu' and 'Maharshi', and Nayanthara's Bollywood track record, the film is anticipated to be a major draw at the box office. Khan is also gearing up for 'Maatrubhumi', dealing with the Galwan Valley conflict.
