The students of the National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) have reached a significant international milestone by securing an award at the esteemed Philip C Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in the United States.
The award, named the Richard R Baxter Award, was won for the best Applicant Memorial, recognizing excellence in written submissions from the applicant's side. The winning team included final-year students Anasrutha Roy, Divya Upadhyay, Niyati Prabhu, and Shruti Susan Mathew, alongside fourth-year student Ustat Kaur Sethi.
This year's competition saw the participation of 806 teams from 99 countries, and the NUALS team's success underscores their exceptional legal research capabilities, analytical prowess, and adept writing skills.
