Andaman Sets Guinness World Record with Largest Underwater Flag

In a historic achievement, the Andaman and Nicobar administration has entered the Guinness World Records by unfurling the largest underwater national flag at Radhanagar beach. The event saw a massive Tricolour, measuring 60x40 meters, being set beneath the sea through a meticulously coordinated operation.

The feat involved collaboration among multiple government agencies, including the Indian Navy and Coast Guard, with over 200 divers participating. Among the youngest divers were three school children, highlighting the event's broad community involvement. Lt Governor D.K. Joshi and other senior officials witnessed the momentous occasion.

This accomplishment underscores the Andaman and Nicobar Islands' reputation for hosting globally recognized events and further boosts its profile as a destination for adventure tourism and marine activities. Plans are underway for another record attempt, aiming for the 'Tallest Human Stack', highlighting the islands' unyielding spirit of adventure.
