The 18th edition of the Habitat Film Festival (HFF) is set to enthrall film enthusiasts at the India Habitat Centre from May 15 to May 24. This annual cinematic extravaganza will showcase films in over 20 languages, featuring restored classics, independent cinema, documentaries, and short films.

Highlights of the festival include a special retrospective honoring the legendary filmmaker Ritwik Ghatak with screenings of his iconic works, as well as a tribute to the late playback singer Asha Bhosle with a restored print of ''Umrao Jaan''. Additionally, the beloved comedy ''Chupke Chupke'' will celebrate the legacy of actors Dharmendra and Asrani.

Contemporary films like ''Moham'', ''Tighee'', ''The Elysian Field'', and ''Vanya'' will represent new cinematic voices from across India. The festival will also offer masterclasses and discussions with filmmakers, complemented by an exhibition of iconic Hindi film posters, highlighting India's rich cinema history.
