Urgent Call for Freedom: Saving Narges Mohammadi's Life

Narges Mohammadi, a Nobel Peace laureate and human rights advocate, is in critical need of medical treatment following her collapse in an Iranian prison. Her foundation disclosed that angiography revealed significant blockages in two main arteries and her condition has worsened since her last procedure in 2024.

After being found unconscious, Mohammadi, 53, was transferred to a hospital in northwest Iran. Subsequently, she was released on bail and taken to a Tehran hospital where specialists discovered blood pressure issues linked to brain damage. They recommend eight months of stress-free treatment for recovery.

Narges Mohammadi's health woes have drawn international concern, with her foundation and Nobel Prize laureates demanding her immediate and unconditional release. Despite already suffering a heart attack and lung blood clot, her health continues to decline, exacerbated by alleged mistreatment during her arrest.
