In Manipur's Churachandpur district, a massive rally organized by the Kuki Women Organisation for Human Rights drew attention to the recent killing of three church leaders in Kangpokpi.
Protesters marched nearly 2 kilometers from Koite village ground to Tuibong, advocating for justice and raising slogans along the way. Their demands include enhanced security measures in Kuki-Zo areas and recognition of village guards.
A memorandum was presented to the local deputy commissioner, addressed to the Union home minister, calling for a high-level investigation and decisive action against the militant outfits allegedly responsible for the violence.
