L&T Secures Key Contracts to Propel India's Maritime and Steel Infrastructure
Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has announced multiple contract wins in India, including projects from JSW Utkal Steel and the Inland Waterways Authority of India. L&T GeoStructure will manage piling work for a steel plant in Odisha and ship repair facilities in Patna and Varanasi, as well as India's first yacht marina in Mumbai.
Larsen & Toubro (L&T) made business headlines on Tuesday, revealing the acquisition of several significant orders within India.
A notable contract was secured from JSW Utkal Steel for piling operations at their Paradeep, Odisha plant, a crucial foundation undertaking to ensure the stability and safety of the steel plant's heavy structures.
Further enhancing its engineering portfolio, L&T GeoStructure, a subsidiary of L&T, won two critical projects from the Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) for the construction of ship repair facilities in Patna and Varanasi. Additionally, the company will construct the nation's first yacht marina at Mumbai Harbour, aiming to transform the city into a premier maritime tourism destination.
