Mohan Yadav revealed plans to enable devotees to take holy baths directly in the Kshipra river during Simhastha 2028, the first time in almost six decades. Previously, devotees relied on diverted water sources, but extensive preparations are underway to restore this aspect of the pilgrimage.

Delivering his remarks at the closing of the Kshipra Tirtha Parikrama programme, Yadav emphasized that newly constructed infrastructure along 30 km of the Kshipra river will support this endeavor. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for heritage conservation efforts that complement this initiative and highlighted recent judicial decisions bolstering tradition and harmony.

Yadav also commended a historic court decision recognizing the Bhojshala-Kamal Maula Mosque as a Hindu temple, signifying respect for religious heritage. Initiatives like the Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan showcase Madhya Pradesh's leadership in water conservation, aligning with broader efforts to revive ancient river-linked traditions.
