Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy summoned an urgent meeting at the Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) in Hyderabad to evaluate security measures following Operation Sindoor. The session, which included all relevant officials, aimed to ensure the protection of vital sites linked to national and state interests.
According to the Telangana CMO, CM Reddy personally scrutinized the safety protocols to safeguard Hyderabad and other areas across Telangana. Residents have been urged to remain vigilant while being assured of the collaborative efforts between central and state authorities for their protection.
Taking to X, CM Reddy expressed, "As an Indian citizen first, standing strongly with our armed forces. The strikes against terror factories in Pakistan & PoK make us proud. Let's unite in national solidarity and speak with one voice - Jai Hind!" Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah also convened with officials to review security strategies along the Line of Control, emphasizing the need for civilian protection and swift responses.
Jammu and Kashmir's official communication highlighted Abdullah's focus on fortifying civilian safety, enhancing infrastructure, and readying responses to new challenges along the border. This development follows discussions between Union Home Minister Amit Shah and CM Abdullah, amid heightened Indo-Pak tensions post-Operation Sindoor, which responds to the Pahalgam attack.
Minister Shah remains in close contact with Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and the Border Security Force chief, directing comprehensive protection for border residents, according to ANI reports.
