In a serious security development, a bomb threat targeting an IndiGo flight from Chandigarh to Mumbai was reported by the Mumbai police on Wednesday. The alert was triggered when Sahar airport's hotline received a call on Tuesday afternoon, claiming that a bomb was planted on the aircraft.
Despite the threat, the flight safely landed at Mumbai's airport later that night. Following the landing, authorities executed meticulous inspections of the plane but uncovered no suspicious items or security breaches.
