Tropical Agrosystem, an agri-input manufacturer, announced on Wednesday the debut of 'Tag Stem Lee', India's pioneering granular insecticide designed to combat two major pests affecting paddy rice crops. This development is poised to be a game-changer in India's agriculture sector, addressing significant yield losses nationwide.
The newly launched product is a patented innovation that provides a dual-action and triple-protection mechanism against Stem Borer and Leaf Folder infestations, significant threats to paddy productivity. These pests can cause yield reductions of up to 40 and 80 percent, respectively. Tropical Agrosystem stated that 'Tag Stem Lee' ensures long-lasting protection with minimal environmental impact.
'Tag Stem Lee' is user-friendly, as farmers can easily apply it by mixing with farmyard manure or sand, suitable for both kharif and rabi seasons. The product's effective pest control requires only 2 kg per acre. The company's Founder, V K Jhaver, emphasized that this breakthrough innovation is just the beginning, with numerous transformative solutions anticipated in the future.
