Tensions Rise as Suspicious Drone Found Near Indo-Bangladesh Border

A mysterious drone, suspected to have crossed the border, was discovered in Assam's Sribhumi district, near the Indo-Bangladesh border, on Wednesday evening.

The unattended black drone was spotted on a house in Chorakuri area, mere meters from the Kushiyara river, causing unease among local residents. Police have since launched an investigation, confirming the drone's Chinese origin.

Sribhumi district's Superintendent of Police, Partha Protim Das, expressed concerns over the foreign-made device, which may have illegally entered the region. The incident follows the recent apprehension of six Bangladeshi nationals for attempting unauthorized entry into Assam.
