BENGALURU, May 8, 2025 – In an effort to enhance institutional evaluation and oversight within the financial sector, Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, a Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament and Founder Chancellor of Lovely Professional University, took part in a two-day study visit to Bengaluru.
Joined by the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance, Dr. Mittal engaged with key financial sector institutions. Their discussions focused on pressing issues like green financing, sustainable investments, and the integration of ESG frameworks into corporate evaluations.
The Committee's strategic consultations with senior officers from leading banks and enterprises such as IREDA, IRFC, and ONGC aimed to provide informed recommendations to Parliament for bolstering the long-term sustainability of India's financial systems.
