In a show of political solidarity, the Union government convened an all-party meeting on Thursday to discuss the affirmative actions under Operation Sindoor. The operation successfully targeted and destroyed nine terror sites in Pakistan, demonstrating the military's resolve. Union Minister Kiren Rijiju highlighted the significance of this unity, noting that all leaders showed maturity and support for the armed forces' actions.

Chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, the meeting included representatives from across the political spectrum. Rijiju revealed that the leaders provided their insights and suggestions on the operation, praising the armed forces for their decisive actions. He urged parties to disregard unverified news, emphasizing the importance of relying on authentic information amidst rampant misinformation.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, AIMIM chairman Asaduddin Owaisi urged the government to seize the opportunity to address tensions in Kashmir and better support victims of the Poonch attack. He stressed the need for housing and compensation for those affected by Pakistan's ceasefire violations. Owaisi also refuted international news of an Indian Rafale aircraft being downed, seeking to maintain the morale of the armed forces.
