The Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, Rajasthan, faced a bomb threat on Thursday, prompting an evacuation on the orders of the Rajasthan Sports Council president. A heavy police presence was dispatched to secure the stadium, and investigative authorities swiftly initiated a thorough inspection of the premises.
Rajasthan State Sports Council president, Neeraj A Pawan, reported receiving an email bomb threat, forwarded to the police commissioner. Responding rapidly, a bomb disposal squad and a frisking team arrived at the scene, ensuring the complete evacuation of the stadium while investigations remain ongoing.
